Whether you’re starting with back of the napkin sketches, or already have a partially developed product, we can help bring your ideas to life. We specialise in using circular design methods and tools to develop effective circular products that are able to outperform and replace existing alternatives. With rapid prototyping and local real-world testing we are able to work quickly in refining your design and its performance.
Most conventional product systems have a ‘take, make and waste’ approach to production, use, and disposal. This has created a default set of product system features, boundaries, and priorities that are no longer relevant, and are incompatible with a circular economy. We can help you to redesign and develop your product systems to better facilitate circular and regenerative outcomes within your organisation.
We’re a proud kiwi business, and we support other kiwi businesses by conducting all of our manufacturing onshore, and by using recycled plastic sourced exclusively within NZ. We have manufacturing options to suit any product quantity, from single one-off pieces to thousands of units: no job is too big or small. We take full responsibility for all products we manufacture and only work with types of plastic we know are suitable for long-term reuse and closed-loop recycling.
A circular plastic product will typically be used many hundreds or thousands of times during one of its lifecycles. In order to help manage these product lifecycles and prolong them as much as possible, we can maintain, repair, and recycle plastic products. For products we manufacture, our product lifecycle management service also includes direct cradle-to-cradle remanufacturing, meaning you can achieve many long lifecycles of the same product using the exact same plastic.
How we create, use, and manage products, especially those made of plastic, is quickly evolving within New Zealand. Between government policies, accreditation schemes, product stewardship, and the overarching strategy to move away from a linear economy, it can be hard to best place your organisation for future success. Our consulting service can help you problem-solve and innovate in a rapidly changing market and is especially effective at helping you to breaking down barriers in transitioning to a circular economy.
